Towards the end of January we had a snowstorm here in Washington. We weren't sure exactly how much snow we'd get at our house but there was A LOT. So much in fact, that Tony had two days "off" of work as the entire area was pretty much shut down. Lucky for us we have a Subaru, snow chains, and a sense of adventure. We enjoyed the snow and the unexpected extra time together.
We met up with some friends to go sledding. Oliver didn't seemed especially thrilled by it. When we got home we realized he had a fever! Poor little guy! Parenting fail.
The winter wonderland lasted about three days and then it went back to the usual: overcast and rainy.
